Introduction

Our structured NPI pipeline ensures that new products are developed in a controlled manner, maintaining strict conformity to your requirements and guaranteeing clear commercial viability.

Phase 1 Concept Design

Development begins with an upfront customer evaluation loop to analyze technical feasibility and cost parameters against your initial requirements.

Identity Definition
The Design team establishes the product's visual identity, generating concept sketches, rough 3D appearance forms, and early color, material, and finish (CMF) selections.
The Foundation
Multiple directions are prepared and reviewed. Once a single design path is selected and approved, we formalize a Final Product Proposal.
Engineering Exploration
Early, high-level engineering exploration begins. Because the external geometry is not yet frozen, engineers have maximum flexibility to verify fundamental technical feasibility.

Phase 2 Parallel Design Freeze & Validation

Once the product path is signed, Design and Engineering move into highly coordinated, parallel development tracks:

Design Freeze
The Design team locks down the final external 3D surfaces, 2D keylines, and cosmetic constraints to generate the final Design Intent Package. This creates a stable external geometry envelope that cannot be changed.
Engineering Validation
Working concurrently, the Engineering team designs the internal mechanics and electrical layout. They validate function and ensure internal component stability strictly within the frozen external envelope.
Prototype Signoff
Working prototypes are built and run through a rigorous internal milestone checklist. These operational units are delivered directly to you for functional feedback and final approval before any manufacturing capital is spent.

Phase 3 Tooling Verification & Testing

With the prototype approved, the process shifts from laboratory development to initial physical manufacturing validation:

Tooling Initiation
Production hard tooling is launched based on the frozen design layout.
Physical Diagnostics
Initial assembled units undergo a rigorous testing loop, including First Article Inspections (FAI), physical assembly fitment tests, drop tests, and hardware/software diagnostic checks.
Compliance Signoff
To pass this gate, the final validation assemblies must successfully clear both independent third-party compliance testing and your formal customer approval loop.

Phase 4 Production Scaling

Before mass manufacturing is cleared, the product undergoes a dual-staged production scale-up to train the factory and stabilize quality yields:

Pilot Production (Alpha Run):
Low-volume pilot runs are initiated. Factory assembly operators undergo structured instruction using strict Work Instructions (WI) to evaluate active line flow and assembly tolerances.
Quality Assurance Gates
Built units pass through functional test loops and final Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) inspections to catch and resolve any manufacturing variances.
Mass Production Release (Beta Run):
Following successful field evaluation and a larger scaled run to confirm factory line stability, the mass production stage is permanently frozen and released for full-scale commercial manufacturing.
